Who are Adolescents?
Adolescents are those between the ages of 10 and 19 according to the United Nations. Adolescents are transitioning from child to adult. Adolescents typically fall into three age groups: pre-adolescence (10 to 12), early adolescence (13 to 15), and late adolescence (16 to 19). This stage is marked by significant growth and development in many areas of their lives, including identity formation, relationships, education, and self-discovery.
Who is Youth?
People in their adolescent or early adult years are generally referred to as "youth" in this context. Various circumstances and definitions may influence the specific age range. According to the United Nations, youth include individuals aged 15 to 24. However, the Nepal government defines youth as people aged 15 to 40.
